Export Volume Increased in Uzbekistan
OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2012. In 2011, products estimating USD 74.2 million were exported to foreign countries from Jizzakh region. If we compare with, it is more than 3.7 times than 2010.
In the region, amount of export products enlarged due to opening new and modernization of existing factories.
Especially in the last year, the number of exporting factories increased to 4. Currently, 23 companies are selling their products to foreign countries and entering into the world market.
“Technical and technological re-equipment of enterprises can extend the range of products, improve quality and increase the volume of export-oriented products,” said the director of the regional territorial department of foreign economic relations, investments and trade Alisher Kadirov. “Last year, reforms on modernization of overall USD 1.7 million was done in 6 main exporting companies. Nowadays, these kind of works are continuing.”
The geography of countries producing export products are also enlarging in the global area. In 2011 such counties like Iran, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and Iraq joined them.
