OREANDA-NEWS.  February 22, 2012. Azerbaijan is going to start giving electronic visas since this summer.

Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev informs that delays with application of e-visas are linked with technical issues, particularly with the software.

"I think already since the summer we will begin providing e-visas for the coming to the country. I hope by that time the relevant special program will be ready, and we cannot use the programs of other countries for reasons of security," the minister said.
