OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2012. The Companion, a leadingbusiness publication, traditionally determined the most successful and authoritative top managers of the highest echelon of Ukrainian companies. The indisputable leader of the ranking "Ten best top managers of Ukraine 2011" was the Kyivstar President Ihor Lytovchenko, whose professional reputation was confirmed by the highest scores by 36 experts. The main experts were the top managers included in the initial list of the ranking.

According to the Companion magazine (issue no. 48, December 2?8, 2011), the "Ten best top managers of Ukraine" ranking is a traditional tool for assessing the professional reputation of Ukrainian companies top executives. This year the ranking methodology has remained the same as previously that makes it possible to assess the dynamics of its participants.

As per the Companion magazine, the first place for Ihor Lytovchenko in two categories at once was due to the strengthening of the Kyivstar leading position by increasing key business indicators, as well as successful integration of new assets, which ended up with the establishment of VimpelCom Ltd., a new Ukrainian business unit. Last year the Kyivstar President led complex and large-scale integration processes of Kyivstar and Beeline-Ukraine, which allowed for the company to become a market leader not only in quantity indicators but also in marketing decisions, and for Ihor Lytovchenko to become the best manager of the country.

The experts in the ranking were the top managers of 43 leading companies in Ukraine, as well as business consultants of such agencies as IKS-Consulting, PBN Company, SLASH Communications, Marketing Solutions and editors of the Companion Group. The experts were asked to evaluate the candidates in two comprehensive quality indicators: success over the past 12 months and credibility in the business environment. The scores were allotted by a 10-point scale and only by those top executives about whom there was an expert opinion. The allotted points were summed up and on the basis of the final figures the ranking was made.

It should be reminded thatIhor Lytovchenko has been a permanent leader in the top executive ranking by the Companion magazine since 2007.
