OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2012. On 16 February 2012, the National Bank of Ukraine hosted a working meeting between the senior managers of the National Bank of Ukraine and representatives from the Independent Banking Association of Ukraine.

In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed urgent issues related to the operation of the banking sector, in particular, with regard to:

- interaction and cooperation between the National Bank of Ukraine and the Independent Banking Association of Ukraine;

- cooperation between the National Bank of Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund;

- furnishing the Independent Banking Association of Ukraine with information on issues related to the monetary, exchange-rate policy and policy in the financial sector;

- participation of the Independent Banking Association of Ukraine in the development and elaboration of the NBU regulations.

At the end of the meeting, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Sergiy Arbuzov and Executive director of the Independent Banking Association of Ukraine Sergiy Mamedov signed Memorandum for partnership and cooperation between the National Bank of Ukraine and the Independent Banking Association of Ukraine and agreed to develop efficient bilateral cooperation in order to find operational solutions to the problems arising in the course of work.
