OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2012. Ministry of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine has send a letter to the Minister of Education, Science, Youth and Sports of AR Crimea, heads of departments of education and science of regional and Kyiv and Sevastopol city administrations, rectors of higher educational establishment of I-IV accreditation levels to improve the quality of training specialists for IT industry.

In particular, the Ministry pursuant to orders of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov on the results of the meeting dated February 15, 2012 year on the improvement of the quality of training specialists in information technology with rectors of leading universities and heads of companies working in this field, recommend to develop and implement in schools in areas of training IT professionals in-depth program of learning English, taking into account the chosen specialty, improve legal training IT professionals by increasing the number of hours to study the relevant subjects of legal direction or their content modules.

It is also proposed to include in the curriculum of areas of industry knowledge "Informatics and computer science" as a separate discipline "Principles of Marketing" and "Fundamentals of Patent" as hour cycle of independent choose of an educational institution or as a meaningful module disciplines of economic and legal directions.

In addition, it should be reviewed the content of legal subjects that are taught during training in a chosen field of knowledge according to the latest achievements of information technology.

The Ministry also recommends taking measures to enhance students' practical training with the involvement of employers to their organization through the introduction of various forms of training students at IT companies and the development and implementation of adaptation programs for university graduates at the workplace.
