Award Winning Air Astana Amenities Improve Passenger Experience
OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2012. Air Astana passengers can look forward to some pleasant surprises as the airline counts down to its 10th anniversary, reported the press-centre of Air Astana.
Business Class passengers on flights over four hours will be given new travel kits designed by the luxury brand Chopard.
Air Astana recently won the Gold Award for Best Business Class Male Amenity Bag/Kit Worldwide and Silver Award for Best Business Class Female Amenity Bag/Kit Worldwide from Travelplus for 2011.
Frequent flyers will appreciate new designs for Economy Class travel kits, which will be updated every three months.
New anti-static blankets have also been introduced in both economy and business class. Extra comfortable duvets are still available in business class on long haul flights. On flights over six hours, passengers are now also offered menu cards and hot towels in economy class.
The entertainment and informative magazine Shusha especially designed for children on board is now available on all Air Astana flights. The magazine is now in its sixth year and has proved to be a great success. A new special bi-monthly edition is being developed for our young travellers and will include useful advice, Kazakh lessons, contests, riddles, puzzles, pictures and fascinating stories. The magazine will be available to all children on flights to Kazakhstan, whilst special children’s travel kits will still be available on flights from Kazakhstan. The special children kits have won the Gold Award for Best Children Kit Worldwide from Travelpus in 2010!
