Loan Portfolio of DemirBank Increased by 7.8%
OREANDA-NEWS. February 20, 2012. DemirBank’s assets as of February 1, 2012 amounted to AZN 365.8 million. Volume of the loan portfolio also increased by 7.8% or AZN 19.3 million and reached AZN 265.7 million.
Total sum of customer deposits as of February 1, 2012 is equal to AZN 143.7 million. Volume of household deposits has reached AZN 107.4 million, thus increasing by 18.1% or AZN 16.5 million.
As of February 1, 2012 DemirBank’s shareholders capital amounted to AZN 21 million, while total regulatory capital reached AZN 50.5 million.
One of the first banks of Azerbaijan, DemirBank (formerly called Azerdemiryolbank) started its activity in October 1989. Shareholders of the Banks include large international financial institutions, such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Holland Development Finance Company (FMO).
