Ukraine Approved 34 State Standards of Professions in 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. February 20, 2012. In 2011, it has been approved 34 state standards of professions that are in demand in the labour market. This was informed by the Minister of Education and Science Youth and Sports Dmytro Tabachnik during a press conference in the Cabinet of Ministers.
He noted that in developing these standards took an active part both employers, and academics.
An example of such cooperation, according to the Minister, is aggregated or extended state standard for the profession "Welder."
"This profession is demanded in the labour market. This standard is developed together with the Ye. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The standard has been prepared according to international quality standard ISO. And the related industry certification also complies with international standards," said the Minister.
"Currently under development are still over 60 state standards on current labour market occupations. In addition, important in the system of development of vocational and technical education is the involvement of social partners. Last year, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport for the first time concluded cooperation agreements with the Employers' Federation and with a known SCM company, and a group of employers of chemical industry the GROUP DF," he said.
