OREANDA-NEWS. February 20, 2012. Uzbekenergo state joint stock company started construction of high voltage (500 kilovolt) power transmission line “Syrdarya thermal power station – New Angren thermal power station with the cost of US.4 million.

It is expected that the construction of line with the extension of 130 km will allow to increase cross-flow of electricity between eastern and central part of Uzbekistan. The project will be implemented till the end of 2014.

The project will be financed due to own resources of Uzbekenergo for US.4 million and loan of China Eximbank for US.1 million.
