OREANDA-NEWS.  February 17, 2012. NTT DATA CORPORATION will start rolling out a trial version of "PastelPort PlusTM", a credit payment service and electronic service for credit sign forms (form storage service) for smartphones and tablets from April 2012, with the service available for use from June.

 "PastelPort Plus" is a new cloud service developed for smartphones and tablets that is based on "PastelPort®", the largest payment cloud service for POS terminals in Japan. Companies installing "PastelPort Plus" will be able to offer various payment services via smartphones and tablets at conference halls, event sites and other areas outside of stores where POS terminals have not been installed.

In addition to credit payments and form storage services, "PastelPort Plus" is also planned to be linked with the Chinese UnionPay payment service. Further developments are also planned outside of the payment field, including business services related to payment (such as sales promotions and sales management), and greater business content linked to POS vendors and clients in various industries as a means of expanding into new markets.
