Uzbek-Russian Trade Turnover Reaches USD 6 688 bn in 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2012. Trade turnover of Uzbekistan and Russia grew by 8.9% year-on-year in 2011 and reached US.688 billion, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
The exports of Uzbekistan to Russia made up US.405 billion in January-December 2011 against US.155 billion in the same period of 2010.
Uzbekistan’s imports from Russian grew to US.283 billion in 2011, the committee noted.
Russia is still largest trade partner of Uzbekistan as its share in total foreign trade turnover of country makes up 26.2%.
Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan increased by 15% year-on-year in 2011 and reached US.537 billion. The committee noted that foreign trade turnover with the CIS countries made up US.11 billion, and with other countries – US.427 billion.
