OREANDA-NEWS.  February 16, 2012. Accounts Chamber Chairman reported to Dmitry Medvedev on the results of a comprehensive audit of the Housing and Utilities Reform Fund.

According to Sergei Stepashin, the audit results showed that the Fund has been operating efficiently and has helped to address the problems of 15.5 million people in a little over three years.

Dmitry Medvedev stressed that the Fund is still facing many challenges and it is allocated a great deal of money to tackle them. Therefore, the Accounts Chamber must continue to monitor the Fund’s spending and activities.
