OREANDA-NEWS.  February 14, 2012. JSC "Neftekamsk Automobile Plant", KAMAZ’s subsidiary in Neftekamsk (Bashkortostan), introduces its new product – a tri-axle tipping semi-trailer oval in cross-section – to the market.

Model 9509-10-30 features 43 t GVW with 30 t payload. The body volume of the semi-trailer is 30 cbm, the length of the dumper is 9.7 m, the width is 2.55 m.

A HYVA telescopic hydraulic cylinder dumps a body to a 45-degree angle. The tipping mechanism is regulated with a pneumatic remote control.

 The chassis has got three BPW axles with single-tire wheels and air suspension elements. The maximum speed of the vehicle is 80 km/h. Such vehicles are used to transport heavy loads, for example, asphalt for construction of roads and other units, therefore it is in demand in many industries.

JSC "Neftekamsk Automobile Plant" uses a mechanized press brake developing a force of 1,000 t for the production of semi-trailers oval in cross-section.

 This equipment is unique, as the bend length is 10 m. The equipment was started up and commissioned. Welding is currently under way at the area of welding robots made by ANDON Automation, Global strategic Partner to ABB, Sweden. The equipment enables to get welds of high quality.

The equipment features great characteristics: it takes 45 minutes to weld one side 22 m long, 28 minutes of which are spent for welding, and the rest time is spent for assembly and check.

The rated welding speed is 0.65-0.75 m/min with the use of copper-plated welding wire and gas protective mixture. The technological process is carried out due to a wire feeder from synergetic source by Esab, a burner cooling system, weld search, a burner control center, welding process and security control systems.
