Rigla Automated Pharmacies Assortment Requisitions Processing System
OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2012. Rigla Pharmacy Chain has automated pharmacies assortment requisitions processing system. This system allows the Pharmacy Chain head office to process requests for entering of new SKUs into the price list on a timely basis and to reduce lead times of the required products delivery to pharmacies. Therefore, each pharmacy is now able to adapt with more flexibility and quickness its assortment list in compliance with the local market demand, using the resources of the Rigla Pharmacy Chain general price-list.

Assortment management system implementation became another milestone in the development of the Rigla Pharmacy Chain information resources, following the implementation of the electronic document management system in July 2011 which allows carrying out online-tracing of protocols and orders fulfillment and increasing the managerial decisions efficiency.
Vadim Gorbunov, Deputy IT Director General of OOO Rigla: Before the system was implemented, pharmacies requisitions were received by the head office via e-mail. The volume of such requisitions and the necessity of their on-line processing have proven to us the necessity of creation of special IT-solution. Implementation of the automated system allows us to carry out more efficient management of each pharmacy’s goods stock in view of the local markets demand: to introduce new SKUs in order to broaden the assortment and to stop deliveries for discontinued SKUs in order not to create frozen goods stock on a timely basis.
