OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2012. External markets are important for domestic food producers. However, the most important task of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine is food security. This was started by Minister Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk on air of the TV-cannel ICTV.

"Among 18 factories which export dairy products, production only 3 of them fell under the ban import and sale in Russia. Thus, we can’t to say on total ban of cheese" - Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
"As of today the main task of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food is to ensure food security and increase the export potential of Ukrainian food producers. Every company has an internal market and foreign markets in many countries. I recall that in 2011 we increased agricultural exports for 12%", - the Minister says.
