Uzbek-Russian-American JV Plans to Create 100 Jobs
OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2012. Comprehensive support of enterprises, exporting their products, is important in their stable development, improving the economy and the country’s export potential.
Today, more than 90 companies working with foreign partners operate in Andijan region.
Uzbek-Russian-American joint venture Samosherteks of Kurgantepa district was organized at the expense of foreign investments.
Products of this company, which specialized in yarn production, are in great demand in both domestic and foreign markets.
Growing demand for competitive products made on the basis of modern technologies, contributes to the dynamic growth of export potential of the JV.
In particular, last year 68 tons of skeins amounting USD 250.1 thousand were exported.
Currently, the company employs 750 skilled professionals and workers. Most of them are the graduates of professional colleges.
This year, it is also planned to create a hundred more new jobs by increasing the power production and exports.
