OREANDA-NEWS.  February 13, 2012.  JSC IRKUT Corporation’s Service for quality was awarded by the Central body of Voluntary Certification System “Military Register” with the Diploma for achievements in providing high efficiently Quality Management System (QMS). The Head of QMS and Certification Department of JSC IRKUT Corporation Leonid Suchkov was awarded with the diploma for the company’s achievements in providing high efficiently Quality Management System (QMS) in 2011 as well.

The Voluntary Certification System “Military Register” – an independent organization, set up by the Russian Defense Ministry for evaluation the compliance for established requirements of quality systems of developers and manufacturers of arms and military equipment. Among the founders of the “Military Register” – the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology, the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM, The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization “Military Register”.

JSC IRKUT Corporation traditionally pays serious attention to the quality. The Quality Management System of the Corporation was first certified for aircraft manufacturing and maintenance according to ISO 9002 standard in 1996 by JSC “NMC “Norma” – an accredited company by the Voluntary Certification System “Military Register”. At present the QMS of the Corporation complies with GOST R ISO 9001, GOST R.V 15.002 and SRPP VT standards for manufacturing and after-sales support of military aviation technique which confirmed by the certificate of JSC “NMC “Norma”, issued in the “Military Register” System. In 2010 JSC IRKUT Corporation was awarded with the “Gold Certificate”, established by the Voluntary Certification System “Military Register” for efficient QMS of the company.
