OREANDA-NEWS.  February 13, 2012.  In order to support exports of Russian industrial products State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and Kalimantan Rail Pte. Ltd signed a Memorandum on Cooperation and Interaction in Implementing an Infrastructure Project on the territory of the Republic Of Indonesia.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Memorandum was signed by Board Member, Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Anatoly Ballo and on behalf of Kalimantan Rail Pte. Ltd – by its Director Andrei Shigaev.

Under the Memorandum the parties intend to enhance cooperation and as part of this cooperation they are considering the possibility of their participation in implementing a project on building a special purpose railway as well as associated infrastructure for transporting coal from coal deposits located in Central and Eastern Kalimantan provinces, the Republic of Indonesia.
