OREANDA-NEWS. February 13, 2012. Brest was visited by the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Belarus Mr. Arnaldo Abeti.

During the acquaintance trip to the Brest region was conducted the meeting with the head of Brest FEZ administration Neudakh V. I. The diplomat also visited territory of the zone in the airport area where foundation of the Italian industrial district is planned. In the course of the conversation Mr. Abeti was informed about the possibilities for business development existing in the Brest FEZ, with new conditions for activity in connection with the creation of the Customs Union etc.

The special attention was devoted to the Italian industrial district; the Memorandum about its creation was signed last year in June. The diplomat emphasized that the Embassy is interested in leading this project to its logic end, and he promised to consider the possibility of rendering information support in promotion of the Italian district.
