OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2012. OMZ-Foundry Production, part of OMZ Group, has concluded a long-term contract with OJSC Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ) - one of the world's largest manufacturers of heavy-duty dump trucks with high and extra-high capacity.

The first delivery of products made by OMZ-Foundry Production for BelAZ, will take place in March-April 2012: the company will deliver 21 castings with weight characteristics from 560 kg to 4 tons.

The contract between the companies is a revival of cooperation between Izhorskiye Zavody and Belarusian automakers. In particular, in the 90s Izhorskiye Zavody manufactured castings of experimental steel grade 08G2DNFL for trucks working in the Far North. Today BelAZ increases the volumes of production of heavy vehicles, which opens great prospects in cooperation with Belarusian partners for OMZ-Foundry Production.
