OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2012. Currently, some 40 poultry fabrics and large farm entities operate in Uzbekistan and each of them has from 50,000 to 1 million birds.

UzA reported that introduction of the modern technologies to the sector is priority diction, which helps to increase quality of products.

It said that the farms in Uzbekistan bread over 4 million chickens, which helps satisfy local market with eggs and dietary meat.

To increase production of products in 2011, some 30.371 billion of banks’ loans and 17.21 billion soums of own resources of the bank were spent.

The report said that local administrations are organizing 293 more new poultry farms in order to develop poultry.

It is expected that the banks will allocate 10.101 billion soums of loans to support them. It is planned to bread over 756,000 birds, and produce 66 million eggs and 320,000 tonnes of poultry meat due to these resources.
