OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2012. While modernizing the energy sector it is necessary to use the domestic production equipment as much as possible. This was stressed by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during the Cabinet session.

"The program of the modernization of all our energy infrastructure is an extremely scale, requires unprecedented resources and many years of work. So we have to look far ahead and to realize that this is a great and stable market for the domestic materials, equipment and advanced technologies," the PM emphasized.

According to Mykola Azarov already it should be planning conversion of whole succession of modernization: from scientific developments to the production of materials and equipment to the specialists training, whom under force such an amount of work, to domestic ground - in our institutions, our enterprises.

The Prime Minister gave an example: currently it is developing recovery program of heat insulating materials and thermal insulation system of buildings. This, he said, significantly would lower the thermal upgrading of housing stock and public buildings. "Is it also pipes, boilers, counters, construction machinery and equipment? All of these should also be domestically produced," the Prime Minister believes.

"We step by step, year after year will make order in this sector, which has got stuck in the 60's of last century," he underlined.
