OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2012. The equipment on reception desks of the terminal complex "D" of the Boryspil International Airport is ready for operation. Testing of systems was conducted on February 7 in the framework of the ORAT Program that performs representatives of Munich at the Boryspil Airport. In the current (fourth) testing there are participated more than 100 persons.

For the first time since the beginning of trials, the registration took place in automatic mode: passengers-volunteers were given boarding passes for a certain flight, printed luggage tags and they sent luggage on luggage system - everything as during a real flight.

Testing has been complicated by the fact that at each of the flights, a part of passengers played the role of foreign citizens who communicated with the airport personnel solely in English.

The program ORAT at the Boryspil Airport has started on December 20, 2011. The first basic trials have passed on January 17, 2012. Currently, tests are conducted weekly.
