OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2012. In 2011 Ukio bankas went on active expansion of e-shops where it is possible to pay via Eta bankas list and gained growing interest of its clients in this service. Last year number of  settlements of Ukio bankas clients in e-shops via Eta bankas increased by 70 per cent and turnover grew by 2.3 times. In 2011 a number of Eta bankas clients increased by almost 20 per cent, reported the press-centre of Ukio Bankas.

„We are gradually expanding a list of e-shops offered to Eta bankas clients. Our purpose – to collect such a range of e-shops in Eta bankas that a person could manage its everyday matters conveniently online: to buy food, various household appliances, technique, various tickets, to pay for services. It helps to save  a lot of precious time, avoid not necessary journeys. We will continue purposeful expansion of payment online possibilities to our clients” – said Jolita Kiausiene, Director of Ukio bankas Electronic Banking Department.

Last year comparing to 2010, a number of settlements in e-shops via Eta bankas grew by 70 per cent and turnover – comparing to 2011 – grew more than 2.3 times – up to LTL 4.3 million.

According to J. Kiausiene, a number of settlements and turnover it e-shops is caused by growing trust in these shops and their diversity. “It gets usual to buy online, to acquire various goods and services. Those who have tried the services do not get disappointed and appreciate their advantages“, - J.Kiausiene noted.

Within the last year Ukio bankas introduced 25 new e-shops where it is possible to execute payments via Eta banka. In 2011 December total number of such shops amounted to 120. Among e-shops proposed to Ukio bankas clients last year were: www.e-senukai.lt, www.e-maxima.lt, www.autogidas.lt, www.aprangajums.lt, www.greitai.lt, www.winnersport.lt, www.forumcinemas.lt, www.vienasaskaita.lt, www.grupinis.lt, www.dovanusala.lt.

A number of Ukio bankas electronic banking clients increased within a year as well: a number of clients within 2011 comparing to 2010 increased almost by 20 per cent and nearly reached 144 thousand.

Ukio bankas is the first commercial bank in Lithuania for the third decade providing reliable service in its own wide client service network of 60 units in all the country. Payment cards of Ukio bankas are serviced in 270 joint network ATMs and 28 Lietuvos pastas units.
