OREANDA-NEWS. February 8, 2012. OJSC TANECO Team received a Letter of Gratitude from RT President, R.N.Minnikhanov. This prominent award is the result of the Company’s big contribution to the development of industrial and economic potential of the Republic.

The content of the letter is the following:

“Dear workers of OJSC TANECO,

I sincerely congratulate you with the remarkable event – start-up of OJSC TANECO Refinery and Petrochemical Complex Stage 1.

This event was long-expected and notable for Tatarstan Republic and for the entire Russian Oil Refining Industry! For the first time in Russian history there was built Refinery – part of the large-scale project designed for refining of several million tons of high sulphur crude oil per one year. OJSC TANECO Project is one more bright and unforgettable page in the Tatarstan chronicles.

I appreciate you for well-coordinated, conscientious work and wish you all health, happiness and new achievements in your job.

Frank Rittner resigned from his position in Interpipe

Frank Rittner, Director for Strategy and Business Development at Interpipe, resigned from his position in the Company on January 31, 2012.

Frank had been working in Interpipe for 4 years, and a considerable part of this period fell on the global financial recession time. Thanks to the “survival strategy, developed under his direct guidance, Interpipe has successfully overcome the crisis and focused on the development on the top-priority markets – North America, Middle East, and North Africa.

Under the leadership of Mr. Rittner Interpipe has introduced its own Continuous Improvement System (CIS). The introduction of such system ensured the saving rate of 15 million US dollars only in 2011.
