OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2012. Government develops a program of domestic manufacture of heat insulating materials for thermal insulation of buildings.

This was stressed by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during a meeting with civil society groups dealing with energy efficiency.

"Now we are developing the Program of own production of materials and systems for thermal insulation of buildings. This will allow us significantly reduce the cost on insulation", - Mykola Azarov said.

He added that insulation of the nine standard prefab house costs from 8 to 12 million UAH. According to PM, this cost is due in particular the fact that almost all insulation materials, fastening and cladding are imported.
