OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2012. The North-Western Directorate of OJSC IC Allianz (ROSNO trademark) has concluded the insurance contracts covering railway rolling stock belonging to Baltinvest, one of the leading leasing companies in St. Petersburg. The aggregate contractual insurance amount is 66,772,400 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The insurance protection applies to 31 tank car owned by the insurant. The insured property has been transferred by the insurant for temporary use to the lessee.

The insurance coverage provides indemnification against the following risks: railway safety breach, fire or explosion, unlawful third-party actions, natural disasters, and aircraft impact.

The insured area (railway route) comprises the Russian Federation, the CIS, and Baltic states. The insurance contract will be valid for one year.
