OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2012. Firm relations with the leading educational institutions of  Omsk region and of the whole country had been established long time ago on the enterprises of “Group of Companies “Titan”, reported the press-centre of Titan.

Within the framework of cooperation the students undergo practical training and probation, write yearly essays and degree works under the direction of specialists of the enterprises, carry out scientific and research activities. Company limited “Poliom” – object of petrochemical cluster of the project “PARK: Industrial-Agricultural Regional Clusters" (the head of the project – president of non-commercial partnership “Center of Innovations” Mikhail Sutyaginsky) – seeks out the future specialists beforehand.

Leading specialists of the enterprise are included in boards of examiners, evaluate the knowledge of the students and invite the best students before the receipt of diploma. In 2011 13 persons were placed in a job that way (the majority is polymerization operators), and since February 1 of this year the staff will be expanded by two more young specialists. The major “suppliers” of the cadres for Omsk polypropylene plant are OmGTU (specialities “Chemical Technology and Biotechnology” and “Chemical Technology of Organic Substances”) and OmGU (speciality “Chemical Technology of Energy Carriers”).

Public company “Omsky Kauchuk” carries out active work with educational institutions of higher, high and primary professional education. Thus, for example, last year about 300 students underwent practical training on the enterprise, among them – students of MITHT (Moscow) of specialty “Chemical Technology of Organic Substances”.  The leading institutes of higher education send their students to undergo different kinds of practices in different specialities: OmGTU – “Chemical Technology of Organic Substances”, “Chilling and Compressor Hardware of Physical Units”, “Power Supply” etc. (in all about 15 cpecialities); OmGU – “Chemical Technology of Natural Energy Carriers and Carbon Materials”; RoSZITLP, SibADI, OmGUPS, OmGAU, MFPA, OmEI and OGIS.

Among high education institutions the largest enterprise of petrochemical industry of the region is cooperating with Omsk Chemical-Mechanical College, Omsk Industrial-Economical College, Omsk Agricultural Technical School, Trade, Economy and Service College. Students undergo practical training as operators, electricians, mechanics of control and measuring devices, turners. The plant cooperates also with primary professional educational institutions: old traditions of cooperation bind “Omsky Kauchuk” with professional colleges No20, No49, No15, No69, No48. These institutions prepare operators, welders, repair men, laboratorians, telecommunications workers. Elena Kozharskaya, Chief Engineer on Preparation of Cadres, said, that according to the schedule the students started to take practice this year: “Such work with youth is a perfect way for the making of outer cadre reserve. Heads of workshops chalk up the students who distinguished themselves very good, and with the appearance of open vacancies we invite them for work when their study is finished”.

Now traditions which formed on petrochemical enterprises are inherited by agroindustrial and forest cluster. Thus, after probation in Kazakhstan two graduating students of OmGAU were invited into the Animal Breeding Directorate. Mikhail Zlobin, student of IV term of the specialty “Vacuum and Compressor Hardware of Physical Units” of Petrochemical Institute OmGTU under the leadership of dean of NHI, professor, Associate Professor of Technical Sciences Vladimir Usha and the Head of Forest-Processing Cluster Yury Potapov, is preparing for higher-institution scientific and practical conference, which will take place in April. The theme of his report will be “Analysis of Heat Loss in Wood Pyrolysis Units”.

In order to make calculation and write mathematical model of the organic carbon production unit and to find the amount of heat emission which can be used, Mikhail went to the village of Petrovo, Tevrizsky district. “I looked at the way the unit is working. Of course, it is technological, very impressive. I had lived for 20 years in the north of the region (the city of Tara) and I know forests very well, this is why the theme of deep processing of wood is very exciting for me. I would like all wood wastes to turn into profits”. It should be noticed that Mikhail is not the only student who is occupied with the problem of processing of forest wastes: under the leadership of Yury Potapov several more senior students are engaged in scientific and research activities.

Within the framework of realization of the project “PARK” the work with regional educational institutions will be expanded. Now the negotiations are underway with OmGU, OmGTU, OmGAU concerning the creation of special sub-departments of preparation of specialists for the new enterprises.
