Monitoring of Liquid Rocket Fuel Traffic Powered by Glonass
OREANDA-NEWS. February 7, 2012. FSUE TSENKI has completed a project related to creating a remote GLONASS-based system for monitoring the mechanical condition of vehicles transporting liquid rocket fuel. It was carried out with technical support from "М2М telematics", a leading innovative holding.
This system is unrivaled around the world, in terms of the way it is implemented and its qualitative performance characteristics. It can work in stand-alone mode (without any additional power supply) for over two years, enabling a high level of safety when transporting dangerous goods.
The system provides the capacity to monitor the physical characteristics of cargo during transportation (e.g. temperature and cistern pressure).
