OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2012. Through the efforts of tax authorities last year was paid off a dept on wages on the amount of 169 million UAH. The State Budget additionally received 31.5 million UAH of income tax for individuals. This was started by the chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko.

He said that in 2012 year tax authorities will be more active in protecting the rights of employees. "Representatives of our service work in all interagency committees and working groups under local authorities. Our plans for this year also include a number of measures to legalize the employment protection and labor rights. Declared the principle of social justice basis of tax policy, we do not have the right to refuse to participate in solving this important problem"- the head the State Tax Service promised.

However, head the State Tax Service said that employers, in turn, sometimes demonstrating social responsibility. "I am pleased to report that last year on the basis of interviews, meetings, joint consultation with the tax authorities over 13 000 businesses have increased wages to their employees. And the budget received 20 million UAH of tax and people - increasing their income and wealth" - Oleksandr Klymenko said.
