OREANDA-NEWS.  February 06, 2012. Latvian national airline airBaltic, named most popular employer in Latvia, is offering additional pilot and cabin crew vacancies during the Shadow Days for young people under the age of 18.

Latvian national airline airBaltic has been selected as the Top Employer in 2011 in a nationwide survey by career and recruitment consultancy CV-Online. For the second year in a row, airBaltic is recognised as the top employer in Latvia, and has consistently been among the top companies for the past five years. The previous nationwide surveys consistently ranked airBaltic among Top 3 Employers since 2007 (Top 1 Employer in 2010, Top 2 Employer in 2009, Top 3 Employer in 2008 and 2007).

Last year, airBaltic received 1000 applications making airBaltic the highest-ranking company in the history of this project.
