OREANDA-NEWS.  February 3, 2012. FSUE Rosmorport plans to put into service six new pilot boats, currently being built at Moscow Shipyard. The vessels delivery is scheduled for the second half of 2012, the federal company said.

The non-ice class boats of Project MPB14 were ordered for Rosmorport’s Azov-Black Sea, Astrakhan and Arkhangelsk branches.

The boat’s length is about 14 meters and features twin full-revolving rudder propellers manufactured by Volvo Penta IPS, which ensure high speed - about 22 knots, and high maneuverability of the boat.
