Oil Product Exports from Vysotsk Terminal Drop 6% in January, 2012
OREANDA-NEWS. February 3, 2012. Shipments of oil products through the terminal RPK Vysotsk "LUKOIL II" based in Leningrad region in January slid by 6% year-on-year to 907,000 tons, Vysotsk port provisional data said.
The monthly volume of diesel fuel exported from the terminal totaled 181,600 tons, of naphtha - 106,100 tons, of fuel oil – 619,000 tons. According to the February forecast shipments of petroleum products may reach 860,000 tons.
In 2011, Russia exported through the facility 9,687,600 tons of oil products (209 tankers), or about 20% below 2010’s numbers. Overall, given the volume delivered by rail transport to Vysotsk, the commodity shipment via RPK Vysotsk "LUKOIL II" shrank by19.5% year-over-year to 9,948,300 tons. During the period, the oil terminal handled 472 small and large-capacity tankers.
