Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov predicts that the Verkhovna Rada will consider in the second reading of the bill "On peculiarities of formation of the state joint-stock company of public railway transportation" and the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Railway Transport" (on separation of the functions of state and economic management industry) in February.

Answering journalists' questions during a press conference on the results of work in 2011, Borys Kolesnikov said that it was not comes privatization of the railroad it in any case.

"We need to understand that roadway electric and diesel locomotives - is the absolute property of the state. It was and so will be" - vice Prime Minister of Ukraine said. - That is any form of privatization, no sale of the railroad in general can not be a priori". But renewal of rolling stock, according to Borys Kolesnikov, will be realized at the expense of investment. "Freight and passenger park will be updated by investments", - he said. Particular all applicants: banks, finance companies, citizens will be able to join to the acquisition and operation of high-speed trains.

Recall the Bill "On peculiarities of formation of the state joint-stock company of public railway transportation" and the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Railway Transport" (on separation of the functions of state and economic management industry) on January 13 was passed for the repeated second reading.
