SUN InBev Reports on its Actions in 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2012. Throughout year, SUN InBev, one of the leaders of the Russian beer market, pleased fans of its brands with creative actions, unusual prizes and long-awaited novelties, reported the press-centre of SUN InBev.
In the past year, dark beer was added to the company product line for the first time. Two brands were presented for consumers: Lowenbrau Dunkel and Bagbier Bock. Lowenbrau Dunkel is the classical German dark beer with the legendary taste of the first Oktoberfest. Dunkel is brewed according to the centuries-old traditions of Bavarian brewing: combination of dark malt and sweet-scented hop impact the beer with rich balanced flavor that has a pleasant aroma of caramel and a soft finish. Bock is one of traditional types of German beer, which history originates in an ancient small town Einbeck in the middle of the XIII century. This is dark beer with caramel and hop aroma, pleasant bitterness, but, unlike classical dark beer, it has much softer taste without sharpness, tartness, and is easy to drink.
This fall, well-known light Bagbier changed its appearance - its label and packing became more modern and convenient. The recipe and excellent taste, however, remained unchanged - sweet-scented Bavarian hop, pure water and malt.
This summer, Tolstyak held a large-scale promo-action named “Beer is the best companion for life in a country cottage ". A woman from Novorossiysk who sent the best "fatness" (humorous and positive description of our life) - became the owner of a summer cottage and a bath-house.
On the Xmas season eve, Tolstyak announced special labels with design using the best "fatnesses" from the brand fans. For example, usual dark blue label of Tolstyak.Dobroye featured fur-trees covered with snowflakes on New Year's Eve night and habitual 'fatness' was replaced with a winner phrase: "It doesn’t matter, be it the year of Black Dragon or the year of White cat; the main thing is to spend every year with Tolstyak.Dobroye!"
Hoegaarden pleased its fans with actions and prizes too - consumers of this Belgian unfiltered beer could learn a secret of its unique taste, finding out codes-elements of the confidential formula under a cover of Hoegaarden bottle and registering these codes at www.hoegaarden.ru. And the most fortunate ones got memory cards, touch-screen smartphones, and tablet PCs from their favorite brand.
This summer, Siberian Crown, SUN InBev's flagship brand in premium segment, took part in the large-scale "Autoexotic" auto-show, calling for responsible drinking. Siberian Crown. Nonalcoholic was offered to the event visitors to remind once again: it is possible to take pleasure in fine taste of a drink without breaking the rules.
And in December, Siberian Crown launched a new TV ad which became the beginning of the new creative concept of the brand - "Pride in Russia". The new clip is based on a very simple idea: to make something good it is necessary to be proud of the country, the things already done and are listed in the category of eternal values - ideal objectives which are necessary to aspire to.
The brands have not revealed plans for 2012 yet, but there can be no doubt that this year beer fans will experience interesting activities, generous prizes, and pleasant surprises.
