Sakhaneftegazsbyt Fined 9.7 mn Rubles
OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2012. The 4th Arbitration Appeal Court pronounced legitimacy of a determination issued by the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) (Yakutia OFAS Russia) to fine “Sakhaneftegazsbyt” OJSC 9.7 million Rubles for violating the antimonopoly law, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.
Earlier Yakutia OFAS Russia found that “Sakhaneftegazsbyt” OJSC violated Clause 6 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. The company violated the law fixing economically and technologically unjustified prices for acceptance and warehouse services and services for storage of oil products.
“Sakhaneftegazsbyt” OJSC challenged the decision of the antimonopoly body at a court of law.
The Appeal Court confirmed the conclusions of Yakutia OFAS Russia and the Arbitration Court for the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
“The company issued an order to fix the tariffs for the services for acceptance-and-warehouse operations and for storage for certain companies that transfer oil products for storage, specified “for the state needs” in a separate list, or depending on the location of fuel production, or the location of a petroleum depot. The costs of services was considerably cheaper than the price approved by other consumers”, commented Deputy Head of Yakutia OFAS Russia, Olga Yarygina.
