Having obtained a positive effect on the competitive-basis purchasing approach since the beginning of 2012, the company has made a decision to expand its list of items purchased via the b2b-saturn e-commerce domain. By the decree of ODK OJSC, from 2012 the B2B-Center system has been approved as the unified branch-wide electronic-commerce domain for all the companies within the United engine corporation group.
Purchasing of goods and services made on a competitive basis allows to substantially reduce the company’s costs thus ensuring efficient utilization of its assets, increases openness and transparency of purchasing operations, facilitates the increase of the number of suppliers and develops the spirit of fair competition between them while creating the conditions of providing the company with the on-time delivery of high-quality goods and services on favorable terms.
