OREANDA-NEWS. January 31, 2012. Anton Terekhov named director for e-commerce at the united company of Afishi and Rambler. At the same time, Rambler-Fund is investing in the project Ichiba.ru, founded and lead by Mr Terekhov.

Anton Terekhov has a great deal of experience working with Internet companies and is one of the key Russian e-commerce experts. At various times he held the position of director for marketing and sales at ADV (2002-2006), director for marketing at Ozon.ru (2006-2008), director for marketing and sales at Rambler (2008-2009), director for e-commerce at TUI Russia/CIS (2009-2011). In the past five years, Anton Terekhov has also founded and acted as general director for the Five birds agency, a multi-faceted supplier of e-commerce solutions.

In his new role, Anton will be responsible for strategy and development of all the e-commerce brands of the united company, including Prive.ru, Rambler-Kassa, Rambler-Avia, and others. Ichiba.ru is an e-commerce platform. It brings together the major players on the e-commerce market – the retailers, developers, web-designers, and service companies (logistics, payment systems, and content creators). The project was launched in April 2011. There are currently 3.5 million products for sale on Ichiba, from more than 400 retailers across Russia.
