PM of Ukraine Believes Government Will Manage to Keep Low Inflation
OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2012. Prime Minister believes the Government will manage to keep a low rate of inflation during the current year, and expects that the annual GDP growth will exceed 3.9%, which are incorporated in the state budget.
This was stated by the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov at the enlarged meeting of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
"The Government expects that in 2012 we will have GDP growth, we have build into the budget 3.9%, but we expect that it will be about 5% and therefore we need to create a corresponding climate for growth of investments, growth capital investments in the fixed assets.
We expect that we will be able to keep a low rate of inflation. Last year it was 4.6%, according to preliminary data in January Inflation will amount 0.3%. I think that we are able to keep a low inflation," Mykola Azarov announced.
