PM of Ukraine States Significant Increase in VAT Refunds in 2011
OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2012. In 2011, it is significantly increased reimbursement of value added tax. This was stated by the Prime Minister Mykola Azarov at the enlarged meeting of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
"In 2010, the VAT was returned at 20 billion UAH, in 2011 - 43 billion UAH. This is significant progress, especially considering the fact that we have repaid the huge debts of more than 70 billion UAH, more than 70 billion - deficit of the Pension Fund, we have overpaid for gas 24 billion and 43 billion have returned the VAT and provided funding of all social infrastructure projects. Therefore there is carried out extensive work and it is necessary to increase these rates," said Mykola Azarov.
In turn, the Head of the State Tax Service Oleksandr Klymenko has noticed that it have already earned the provisions of the Tax Code that significantly simplifies doing business in Ukraine: "Those innovations which are incorporated by the Government in the Tax Code, they have already give real results."
