Alexander Yeryomin Heads JSC VTB Bank (Azerbaijan)
OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2012. Alexander Yeryomin was appointed Chairman of the Board of JSC VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) by its Supervisory Council resolution. The new Top-manager assumed his duties in December 2011 upon certification by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Republic, reported the press-centre of VTB.
“Alexander Yeryomin is a dynamic and experienced leader, able to boost the power of VTB Bank Subsidiary in the Azerbaijan market and raise the universal bank operations efficiency”, said Olga Dergunova, Member of JSC VTB Bank Management Board.
Oleg Krasnozhon, the former Chairman of the Board of JSC VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) became the Head of its Supervisory Council.

Before joining VTB at the end of 2011 Alexander Yeryomin worked for six years in the Russian Group “TRUST” (Russia, Ukraine), holding positions of Vice President of National Bank TRUST Management (Russia) and President of JSC Bank TRUST (Ukraine).
A. Yeryomin was born in 1972 in Lgov, the Kursk Region. In 1995 he graduated with honors from the Tula State University, Department of Technical Cybernetics. He got his further education in GMI Engineering & Management Institute, Tafakkur University. In 1995 – 1998 he worked for the Russian Small Business Supporting Fund, then for several years he was employed by IPC and CJSC “MFB” (Ukraine). In 2003 – 2004 A. Yeryomin headed Dnepropetrovsk Branch of Alfa-Bank (Ukraine). In 2004 – 2005 he led the bank’s credit business and held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of CJSC “MFBA”(Azerbaijan).
JSC VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) is JSC VTB Bank Subsidiary. Its share capital is divided between the Russian party – JSC VTB Bank (51% of shares), the Azerbaijan party – JSC AtaHolding (48.99%) and a private person (0.01%). VTB (Azerbaijan) performs lending, retail and non-bank financial operations, such as trust, investment, leasing and other services rendered via VTB Group subsidiary companies.
