OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2012. Kapital Bank expanded the network of services in 2011. Last year the number of the Bank`s ATMs reached 421, while the number of  POS terminals increased to 466, reported the press-centre of Kapital Bank.

The year 2011 also saw the growth in the number of Kapital Bank`s clients using its payment cards. The number of the Bank`s active payment cards was 2,131,242 as of January 1, 2012.

In 2011 Kapital Bank won a special award of MasterCard International for holding financial market leadership in terms of the number of  Maestro cards issued throughout the year.

Last December Kapital Bank received Payment Cards Industry Data Security Standards Version (PCI DSS V2.0) certificate, which increases the security of the Bank`s payment cards.
