OREANDA-NEWS. January 31, 2012. Ukraine and Lithuania will further develop direct flights between the countries: with the introduction of summer schedule the frequency of regular flights between Kyiv and Vilnius may be increased.

This was announced by vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov as a result of a working meeting with Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania which was held in Vilnius.

"As for aviation, of course we glad that passenger traffic is growing and I think that with the summer schedule, from the last Sunday in March, between Kyiv and Vilnius will be increased frequency of flights", - Borys Kolesnikov said.

Also, vice Prime Minister said that it was discussed direct flights connect Vilnius with other Ukrainian cities - Donetsk and Lviv.
