OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2012. By the results of a re-registration of entrepreneurs, the simplified model of taxation has been chosen by 1.089 million persons. This was stated by the Chairman of the State Tax Service Oleksandr Klymenko during board of Tax Service.

According to him, compared with last year, the number of individual entrepreneurs has remained stable and even slightly increased. Particularly, in 2011 in Ukraine there were about 1 million representatives of small business.

"For its part, the Tax Service has created all necessary conditions for a comfortable re-registration of entrepreneurs – there was prolonged working day of inspections, our staff worked on weekends, it was carrying out an active outreach campaign. Now we are waiting for adequate steps from business - fair attitude towards tax payment procedure," Oleksandr Klymenko underlined.

50 thousand taxpayers have visited to tax authorities in a last deadline to apply for the simplified tax system.
