OREANDA-NEWS. January 30, 2012. The wholesale markets of agricultural products will allow selling foodstuffs at a fair price and will force out agents from a link between producers and consumers.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Ukraine adheres to such opinion.

Wholesale markets have practical value. Already now we can say that the average price for fruit and vegetable products to be sold by the WMAP, by 40% lower than in other  networks of supply of goods.

The wholesale market of agricultural products should reduce the path from producer to consumer, displacing from this link of intermediaries that artificially overstated food prices. As a result it will win both sides: by reducing the number of the agents, both agricultural producers, and consumers will establish a fair price that meets the interests of both.
