OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2012. Moscow Domodedovo Airport invites media reporters and bloggers to attend Future Technologies: IT Projects of DME presentation, which will be held on February 1 at 12.00 at Digital October Technology Center (Bersenevskaya embankment, 6).

How does the Smart Fence works? How many CCTV cameras are installed at the Airport, and where to does the video data go from them? Why does Domodedovo need its own electronic trading platform, and what for the ‘cyborgs’ come to the Airport? These and other questions will be covered by Victor Ponomarenko, Chief Officer for Information Technologies, who will present to the public the most interesting IT projects of Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Some of these projects are unique not only in Russia but also in the world.

Future Technologies: IT Projects of DME is a continuation of a series of presentations through which the largest airport in Russia and Europe informs Russian and foreign media reporters and bloggers about its development prospects. Last year, the reporters learned how important is the export of air transportation services for Domodedovo and the whole Moscow Aviation Hub (July 2011), and in September they were presented with the prospects of future Domodedovo Aerotropolis.
