OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid more than 4 million rubles to the Agricultural Enterprise Tugnuy LLC situated in the Republic of Buryatia due to harvest failure.

Spring wheat crops on the area of 3,100 ha were insured against complete failure under the contract for the total sum of 4.5 mln. rubles.

The insured event was soil drought that leaded to complete failure of the crop. An expert examination had to be carried out to estimate the extent of the damage. Based on its results the event was deemed insured and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid indemnity to the enterprise in accordance with the terms of the contract.
