OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2012. According to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics, Chinaбпs crude steel output rose by 0.7 percent year-on-year to 52.16 million tons in December, bringing the total output in 2011 to 683.27 million tons, up 8.9 percent.

Pig iron and steel products output in December stood at 48.01 million tons and 71.07 million tons, up 3.7 percent and 6 percent respectively.

Their output in 2011 was 629.69 million tons and 881.31 million tons respectively, up 8.4 percent and 12.3 percent.
