OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2012. Entry into force of the law on economic experiment of creating favorable conditions for development in Ukraine industry software products brings the industry "out of the shadows."

This convinced the State Agency for Science, Innovation and Informatization of Ukraine Volodymyr Semynozhenko is convinced.

He noted that currently the IT companies are forced to use "gray schemes" through high payments to social funds and the tax burden with considerable labor costs. This makes the cost of hours of work of Ukrainian IT professionals too high, so the software is not competitive because of its price. 80% of companies hiring employees, using a scheme of self-employed, and 20% - execute workers in the state in the minimum wage. According to Volodymr Semynozhenko, due to the use of such schemes suffer losses and the companies.

Law on economic experiment, the project of which has already been approved by Parliament in first reading, has to remove tax obstacles to the development of IT industry. As the Chairman of State Agency for Science, Innovation and Informatization noted soon will be discussed this bill with the Prime Minister, government officials, MPs, representatives of IT-business and specialized NGOs. In particular, stakeholders will consider the full release of IT companies from income tax and VAT.
