OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2012. There has taken place the first test operation of the new terminal of the Lviv International Airport, during which there worked out the main stages of the movement of a passenger in a terminal in compliance with all stages of registration.

The testing was attended by 50 volunteers and representatives of airlines: they have passed all the way of ordinary passengers, ranging from check-in counters, and then the passport and customs controls. They also visited the waiting room and the area of arrival.

All of the "passengers" have passed required procedures before departure in 40 minutes that is an average of 48 seconds per passenger.

The volunteers-passengers oriented in the terminal very easily by posted signs, pointers and boards.

In the future it is scheduled to be held several operations in test mode of the new terminal of the Lviv Airport with a gradual increase in of the number of "passengers".

Recall, on January 25, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Infrastructure Borys Kolesnikov transferred the newly-built terminal of Lviv International Airport in test operation.
